Notes: This well preserved site is one of only a few Devonian examples left of the chimneys we usually associate with Cornish mines. It has produced lead, copper, arsenic and silver during it's working life. Mining of all types has long been associated with Dartmoor and Tavistock once used to be a major copper centre.
